Mar. 02 No kidding, it a lamb If you think this proud mother is a goat, then you must conclude that its newborn offspring is a kid. But you would be wrong. The goatish looking animal is, in fact a Barbary sheep, also known as a Udad. Its baby is therefore a lamb. Udad are the onlyl wild sheep in Africa, where they live in mountain areas. This touching scene, however, is at Los Angeles Zoo in California, where keepers are currently elated over the birth of the healthy little newcomer
