Mar. 31 A Hippo in house. Most women will put up with their children bringing home strange faces and assorted playfriends, but when your two-year-old daughter brings home a baby hippo, things can become hectic. It happened to Mary Chipperfield (of the famous circus family) and her husband Rodger Cowley, who manage the animal section of Longlast. Their daughter, Suzanne introduced Rams into their home. Photo shows first, little hippo got into kitchen cupboards, then decided to take a quick nap on the loungroom floor, before gathering a strength to play with her new found friend! Like all youngsters, Esme likes to get into the cupboards, but Mary Chipperfield Cawley has other ideas
