Mar. 27 The highway horse strikes again; Debbie is the stand and deliver horse, who bars the bridge and demands his price. Whenever he sees anyone crossing the river by his grazing field at Droxford, Hampshire, he dashes on to the bridge and refuses to let them pass until they give him a sugar or cakes. Most of hte local children know this and usually come prepared for the hold up. But some people complain that they have to avoid the bridge and walk a long way round. Mr. Mcintosh, chairman of Droxford Parish Council, said: The horse is like a highwayman Hampshire County Council are being asked to put up a barrier to keep Dobbie off the bridge and so and his career as a high way horse. Photo Shows Dobbie demands his price for crossing the bridge from these children
