He takes them with him where ever he goes, and just before leaving for home from work or play, he sends one of them off with a warning of his coming.If there is a sudden change of plan, the other is still in the basket as a reserve. And so, Little Wonder and Little Hope help to maintain an atmosphere sweeter than in many a home where a young man is apt not to tell his mother if he is going to be unexpectedly late or early, and yet always wants his tea and dinner on the table
