Mar. 02 The Cat That Catches Mice For An Owl: Found recently in a Carlisle Bakery in an exchanged and starved condition was a found Tawny Owl. Mrs. Mary Wright who found Tawny tried to offer him several things to eat but found that the only thing which Whiskers, a Cat was found wandering the streets of Carlisle like Tawny - down and out, was put into the cage and after that Whiskers was put was put to work to work to keep ways Tawny supplied dead mice. Photo Shows Tawny who says Mrs. Wright is gathering strength every day thanks to the efforts of hickers who brings in the dead mice
