A baby has just been born to Maren hippo inmete of the Copenhagen zoo, This is her 13th. baby in 13 years - and the father is 43 year old August the eldest hippo-father in captivity in the world. He was caught in Africa in 1911. Although Rasmus looks cut and tiny now - he will no doubt grow to be as big - fat and ugly as his illustrious parents.
