Mar. 27 Poor little Orphan.. Once upon a time, there lived a little deer with his mother somewhere in Germany. they were very happy and loved each other very much. They were convinced, that they would live happily ever after. But one day something very sad happened. Mother Deer went for a walk and told the little one to remain in shelter, as it was raining. The little deer fell asleep and when it awakened, it was dark and cold and the little deer shivered and was very hungry. It called for Mother, but she was nowhere in sight. Of course the little deer could not know that the poor mother was run over by a car and would never come back. In the morning, a lady passed through the weeds and found the little deer. She took it home wish her and fed it. But the little deer kept on weeping, because it missed it's mother. the lady felt very sorry for the tiny animal and decided to take it to her dog, Britta. Now Britta had just given birth to four puppies who died shortly afterwards. So after a few moments of suspicion, Britta took the little dear into her care and adopted it. They loved each other like mother and child - and they lived happily ever after
