Apr. 17 Strange family at Colchester Zoo: Cross a zebra father with a donkey mother and what do you get? A Zedonk, like the semi-striped offspring of donkey Jenny and zebra Whisky, who shared a paddock at Colchester Zoo. London zoo have known reverse cases with the mother a zebra, the father a donkey: the offspring is then a Zebryl. It is possible however, that the baby Zedonk is unique in its parentage about which there can be no doubt, as it physically resembles both of them. Photo shows One happy family at Colchester zoo father is 5 year old Zebra called Whisky; mother is 3 year old Jenny, a donkey and junior is a Zedonk
