Apr. 17 Threatened with extinction new regulationsay yet save the vicuna in the Andes. These pictures just received show the Vicuna in its natural habitat. It is rare for this shy animal to allow a comeraman to approach close enough for good photography. The Vicuna, a rare south American relative of the camel and the Ilama, is threatened with exhibition and the Government ban, announced this week, on the import of Vicuna hair and skin, is the result of a campaign by the world wild life fund who say there are fower then 10, 000 Vicunas in existence. Vicuna in recent years has become popular as a sign of male as well as female opulence in coats
