Apr. 17 The 1, 825 mile a year dog: Women the world over are often subjected to wolf whistles from passing admiers and any English girl can get her fair share of admiring sounds. And Mrs. Jeanette Cosser, from Herne Bay, Kent, is no exception. But her constant companion is more than a bit of a hound. He is in fact the world's second largest dog, an Irish Wolfhound Kelly, stands 3ft 2 in with four feet on the ground. The world record for the biggest canine is an inch more and is also held by an Irish Wolfhound. But Kelly is still growing. Each day he eats 4lb of meat, a raw egg and biscuits to tide him over between meals. He also drinks a pinta to bridge the energy gap. Kelly needs lots of exercise and that means a five mile a day romp in the local park. This means that Mrs. Cosser has to do 1, 825 miles a year to keep Kely fit. Small wonder she needs a bicycle to keep up. Mrs. Janette Cosser needs her bicycle to exercise Kelly who is seen here reaching great belgans
