Apr. 16 Life is a picnic for this baby bear: :ofe for the Bossagani family of Gatley, Cheshire, has taken on new dimensions since Winnie has come to live with them. For 14 week old Winnie is a polar bear cub, who was rejected by her mother at the Bella Vue Zoo, Manchester, so entering manager Peter Basagani took her home after she spent several days in a premature baby incubator. The family has previously mothered rejected tiger cubs, but for attractive Mrs. Lesley Bosagani Winnie is a real challenge. She's being lookied after like a baby and she can be quite demanding. But she has adapted quickly to home comforts and has gained sufficient weight to be returned to the zoo soon, says Mrs. Bosagani, who has been helped by her young son, Simon who has become a firm friend of Winnie. Winnie, the Polar Bear cub gets among the daffodils in the family garden of Mr and Mrs. Bosagani of Gatley, Cheshire
