Animals - Aquariums - Archeology - Insects - Fossils - Zoos

Mar. 31 Alan meets Rosie: Certainly, young Alan Clews isn't going to be allowed to grow up with any fear of animals. And that's not a bad thing, as he lives with his family at Southam Park Zoo in Warwickshire. Zoo baby Alan's parents, Graham and Jenny Clews, help with the running of the family-concern zoo. Alan, who's ten weeks old, has just had his introduction to Rosie, a five-year-old chimpanzee who's a favorite of the Clews family - and Rosie clearly enjoyed the encounter. Talking about her new grandson, Alan's grandmother said Jenny and Graham decided that Alan should meet some of the animals as early as possible, so he wouldn't grow up with any fears about them. And do you know, before she was three months old, Alan's sister Traey had been licked by a lion and bottle-fed by a chimpanzee'. Ah well, there's nothing like starting am young, we suppose
