Apr. 17 Babe from the Woods: When 10-year-old Stephen Blendell found a baby squirrel in Highgate woods the R.S.P.C.A. were pessimistic as to whether winky, the family cat, who had just given birth to kittens, would consent to take it into her family as one of her own, and feed it. They were wrong. For it turned out tha t greater lover hath no cat than Winky, and now Sammy, the squirrel is well and truly one of the feline family.It's all a question of loving your Creatures is what Winky seems to squint at the cameraman as she nestles Sammy under her chest from one of her kitten whojust won't leave poor Sammy alone for a moment
