Apr. 17 Terri The Flowerpot Poodle Terri, Mrs Julia Caplan's 2 year old toy poodle suffered bad injuries when he was hit by a car. After a three hour operation the vet thought there was little hope for him and at home he kept licking the dressing off his wounds and biting the stitches. Then Mrs Caplan, form Douglas, Isle of Man, thought of a plan to speed Terri's recovery. She took a light plastic flower pot, cut out the bottom, and fitted it over his head and neck so that he couldn't get at the wounds. Soon accustomed to the novel medial appliance, Terri now leads a normal life and is well on the way to a full recovery
