Apr. 05 Spectators gather round a giant sea turtle laying her eggs of Jensen Beach as June's calendar of events heralds a month of summer fun for Florida's visitors and residents. The turtle watch is scheduled in Jensen Beach June 23 and 30, when an estimated 5, 000 turtles begin making their way to shore at night to lay more than 600, 0000 eggs. Organized turtle watches are formed to enable the public to view this phenomenon of nature at close range without disturbing the endangered sea giants
