Mar. 02 The famed fur seals of the Pribilof Islands are a brawling, bawling lot that must he heard and smelled to be believed. The big beach master bulls are the first ones ashore, to set up their territorial limits, followed by the sleek cows. Within a few days the cow gives birth to a pup, then immediately breeds again to insure next year's procreation. Since the bulls can't even leave their territories to eat they must be around to protect heir harems and their plot of ground by the end of the season they are pretty pooped papas
