Animals - Aquariums - Archeology - Insects - Fossils - Zoos

Mar. 02 Gutsy-The Brave: This is a sight to sicken all animal lovers. A callous archer, shot this beautiful white Goose, with a steel bolt from a crossbow while it was swimming on the river Tamar in Cornwall. R.S.P.C.A. inspectors caught it and with difficulty removed the bolt. They nicknamed the bird Gutay because of its brave fight for survival. Inspector Barry Hancock who dealt with Gutsy's case and the birds recovery, says, that curbs on the sale of crossbows and licences should be needed for such dangerous weapons
