Rare Offspring At Japanese Zoo: Tye 190 day old Leopon cubs - half leopard and half lion - born at the Hanshin park Zoo, near Kobe, Japan - are growing into fine looking animals, . Their father is a leopard and the mother a lioness - they are a male and a female - and while the female can climb the tree in the cage -- the male is unable to do so- he is rather more clumsy. The coat of the female is getting Lighter - while that of the male - darker. Photo shows One of the baby Leopons tries to climb on the back of the Lioness mother.
