Mar. 31 Hello, Chi-Chi.: Gracious greetings from a lovely lady. Chi-Chi is very experienced at giving press conferences and posing for pictures. And when our photographer went along to take her photograph she was just about to have her tear, but she very kindly consented to pose for us, clutching as armful of bamboo shoots which who was gracious enough to postpone eating until after this camera session. Photo shows Chi-Chi, London Zoo's nine-year=old panda, worth £12, 000 and the only panda in the Western world
