Mar. 31 Baby Drinks 24 Pintas - A Day!: It's quite a task keeping up with a pet who drinks 24 pints of milk per day - especially when its only six months old - and has still a lot of growing to do. Mrs. Pat Dellar, who runs an animal model agency in Lemsford, Herts. found this out when she bought Ele, a six months old elephant from Bedford Zoo. Ele, who eats10 of food a week, doesn't associate mush with some of Mrs. Dellar's other pets - such as thelion, the puma and the various dogs - but she is a great friend of Mrs. Dellar's parrot, George - and insists on Gedrge's presence when he consumes thse three gallons of milk each day. 5.6 month old Ele accepts a pint of milk from Carol School field - while George, the parrot looks on patiently
