Mar. 31 Orangutan baby in Munihc/West Germany Zoo Hellabrunn One bottle-baby more - there is, since a short time in the Munich/West-Germany zoo Hellabrunn! The little Zampano, who now hadn't long to please to drink by animal keeper Barbel, was in his first weeks a true problem-child'. At his birth the weight of the little animal was only 1724 grams and he was nearly frozen, when he got found in the morning also he had a heavy navel infection which must be operated and additional he showed no feeding reflex, so he had to feed all three hours around the clock with a probe. Later Zampano started to drink without help, and now he is over the hill. In the meantime the son of Bruno (born 1969 as a sensational orangutan twin in Hellabrunn) and Tessy reached a weight of 32oo grams
