Apr. 17 What A Bore: Life's one big yawn of Klaus, the four-and-a-half year old African lion who lives at Chessington Zoo, Surrey. Klaus arrived two years ago from Amsterdam and his mate who arrived from Holland the same day in called Beatrix because their arrival day coincided with the Beatrix-Klaus royal wedding. Fourteen pounds of meat a day is Klaus's intake and after such a meal he usually gives one mighty bored yawn and rolls over to sleep
