Jun. 06, 1961 - David meets Goliath at Bristol Zoo. The big UN and the little UN: I'm David that's me the little chap saying hello to the huge tortoise, at Bristol Zoo yesterday. The big fella's just arrived from Zanzibar. He weighs 2 Cwt. 70 lb. and I'm a mere five ounces. But he took one look at me - and ran, at least as fast as a huge tortoise can run - and so now they are calling him Goliath
