Jul. 07, 1960 - Seal-baby in the Nurnberg Zoo The seal Sonny (SONNY) gave birth to a seal-baby in the Zoo of Nurnberg on June 30th, 1960. His crying which sounds like the bellowing of a goat can be heard far around. Mother and baby are in the fencing-in of the penguins and are doing fine. They were put there because it might have been possible that the loving seal-father would have squeezed the little one to death with his caressing
