Jun. 23, 1961 - Top Dog beats field of 3, 000 to win Trophy: The name is Horningsea Suvaras - or Suvi for Short - and yesterday ha was very much top dog at Blackpool. For aristocratic Suvi - he's an Afghan hound - won the Supreme Championship at the resort's dog show, beating 3, 000 other entrants. He won a 200-guinea silver trophy for his owner, Mrs. Marna Dodds, of North Mymms, Herts, who has turned down several American offers for him. Photo Shows Suvi and his trophy
