Jun. 14, 1962 - Topsy Has Her First Outing - At The London Zoo.. To be seen by the public for the first time at the Children's Corner - London Zoo - yesterday was Topsy a three weeks old piglet. During her outing Topsy turned rebel - and raced away from her young handlers.. But she was soon caught - and taken back into gentle custody - for she is very valuable - being the first of her species to be born in this country.. She has been given the rather undignified title of Vietnamese Po-Belly'.
