Feb. 02, 1961 - Truly A Golden Calf - 28, 000 Guineas Paid For Bull At Perth Aberdeen-Angus Sale. 28, 000 guinese - a British record for the breed, was paid at Perth Auction Mart yesterday at the sale of pedigreed Aberdenn-Angus bulls, for Newhouse Jewror Eric'. a 13-months old calf bred by Messrs. Robert M. Adam and Son, Newhouse of Glamis, Angus. The buyer was Mr. Keith Bromley. And the bull was not the supreme champion, but was reserve to it. This bull is a close relative to the previous top price Angus, Newhouse Jubilee Eric, which sold for a thousand guineas less last year. Photo Shows: The scene in the crowded ring when the new record price was made. Mr. R.L. Fraser, the auctioneer, without hat, is seen on the rostrum and Mr Drew Adam, the breeder, is in front
