Mar. 03, 1961 - WHIPSNADE ZOO BEAR CUBS ON SHOW TO THE PUBLIC. LOOKING OUT OF THEIR CAVE The Polar Bear Cubs - born on 3rd. December last to SONJA and NANOOK - were today tranferred to the Polar Bear Pit at Whispnade Zoo. They are both females - having been named AURORA and POLARIS - and are the first Polar Bear twins to be bred in this country. KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS:- The two babies look out of the cave - while Mother looks on - at Whipsnade Zoo this morning
