Mar. 03, 1961 - Whipsnade Zoo bear cubs on show to the public. Mother plays with her babies.: The Polar Bear Cubs - female twins Aurora and Polaris - born on December 3rd last to Sonja and Nanook - were today transferred to the Polar Bear Pit for display to the public. They are the first Polar Bear twins to be bred in this country. Photo shows Mother Sonja plays with her babies at Whipsnade Zoo today
