Nov. 11, 1963 - Scots Guards Adopt Lion Clubs: Two Lions Cubs, Two lion cubs, Unita and Fortior, who were orphaned when their mother was killed by poachers, have been adopted as mascots by the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards, who are serving at Templer Barracks in Nairobi.
