Apr. 15, 1964 - RARE KANGAROO BORN AT WHIPSNADE. A rare black-faced kangaroo has been born at Whipsnade Zoo, the first of it's kind to be born there. The parent kangaroos were given to the zoo by the Australian Government to commemorate the Queen's visit to Australia. Photo Shows:- The baby kangaroo in it's mother's pouch at Whipsnade today
