May 05, 1963 - The last in the open country living Horse-crowd...in the Merfeld Bruch near Dulmen/Westfalen will be the end of a lot of horse-friends on May 25th. At this day the crowd will be diven into a large arena. Then in the arena the one year old stallions are caught pout and new blood is given to the crowd. From Poland a short time ago came Tock a mini-horse, which is like a horse of the tropical forest. The Mersfeld horse-crowd came over the winter very well. The coat of the horses has been never so shaggy as this year. Picture shows the crowd running into the arena
