Feb. 27, 1964 - Surrey Wolf-Hunt Ends In Death For Felicity; All day yesterday, police, zoo men and helpers joined in the search foe Felicity, the she-wolf who escaped from Chessinton Zoo, and was seen in the woods at Oxshott, a few miles away. Late yesterday afternoon, Felicity was spotted in a clearing, and shot dead by butcher James Noakes, an expert shot, as it was thought that Felicity would probably attach anyone who tried to approach her.
