Mar. 03, 1964 - Farewell To The 2/6-A-Week Hired Killer 16-year-old Peter, who served the Home Office in the capacity of Chief Mouse Catcher since he joined the Whitehall diplomatic staff as a kiitten, received a weekly allowance of 2/64 for food, was buried at a solemn funeral at the Pet's Cemetery of the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals at Ilford today. Photo Shows: The procession is led through the cemetery by Peter's coffin on a wheel-barrow pushed by P.D.S.A. carpenter Bob Wheeler. Also in the procession are two ladies from the Home office, and Goldie, the P.D.S.A. mascot pony
