Mar. 03, 1965 - Goldie The Fly-Away Eagle Attacks Again Swoops On Another Duck In Regent's Park: Goldie, the Golden Eagle which escaped from the London Zoo on Feb. 28th and so far has managed to elude his captors, struck again in Regent's Park today. He dropped like a stone from his tree-top perch above the park's duckpond and landed on the back of a white snow goose. The bird was dragged up on to the bank and at that vital moment a shout went up from the crowd - Goldie released his prey and flew back to his tree-top perch. Photo shows A London Zoo official prepares a bait of dead duck to lure Goldie from his perch in an attempt to recapture him in Regent's Park today
