Mar. 03, 1965 - Look - Mum no hands - Alf takes a tumble at Whipsnade: The pair of Polar Bear Cubs born to Sonya and Nanook on 16th. November last were shown to the Public yesterday for the first time. They have been given the names of Alf and Marjorie. Alf is the first male cub to be worn at Whipsnade. Photo shows Alf thought he was being a bit on the clever side when he tried to jump down from the wall and landed on his chin. Mum - Sonya appears not to worry. Kids will be kids.
