Mar. 10, 1965 - Goldie - the Zoo Eagle - Captured at Last.. After Twelve Days of Freedom. Goldie the Zoo Eagle which has been flying around London after escaping from his London Zoo Cage last Friday week - was captured at 6-15 this morning. After twelve days of Freedom - he was back in his cage.. Zoo keepers trapped him when he came down to feed off a rabbit - laid for him as bait..
