He beat off he eagle and carried the badly injured stag to his cottage. There he and his wife Ruth nursed it back to health - and named it Rory. For the moment Rory is content to share a shed with the gamekeepers three dogs or sleep by the fire in the cottage..But one day it may claim it's freedom - and become - once again - the hunted..
