1965 - Suzie's game starts a bear scare; It's that bear again, Suzie, the girl who just cannot keep out of the limelight. Yesterday she was seen jumping around in a parkked van. A crowd gathered and someone called the police. The Suzie's owner, Mr. John Donovan arrived and explained that he keeps the bear in the van, which was parked in Paddigton Street. St. Mary's bone, Suzie, a 13 month old Himalayan bear only wanted to play added Mr. Donovan. A month ago Suzie caused a stir when she was left in a car outside the London Law Courts.
