Dec. 24, 1964 - Just like Bookends: These two giraffes were born about a week ago in Taronga Park Zoo Sydney Australia and are considered by their keepers to be an almost perfect pair. The keepers, who kept an anxious eye on their mothers Clare and Hazel for more than a year before the babies arrived, regard them as twins. Names such a Pete and Repeat -Kate and Duplicate were toyed with before they were born
