Oct. 22, 1962 - Mother And Pups Found In Deserted House: A mongrel bitch and her five puppies were found in a derelict house in Primose Hill, London, Yesterday -- and the mother was chained to a bedstead. The house has been unoccupied for ten days, and police and RSPCA officer had o smash wooden shutters to get in. She ws coaxed in to a veterinary ambulance and police are now trying to find out who was responsible.
