Sep. 01, 1965 - Four Lioness at Whirsnade presented by trustees of Kenya National Paris: Four Lionesses were received at Whipsnade Zoo on August 26th. They have been named Mara, Little Elea, Princess and Wamba, and were presented by the Trustees of Kenya National Parks. Mara and Little Elsa appeared inthe film Born Free'-Mara is 21/2 years old and the other three lionesses are younger and were hand-reared.
