Jun. 06, 1965 - A Capibara sits on ostrich Eggs: In the Amsterdam zoo, Artis, a Capibara (water pig), has settled down on five eggs of a Rhea (South American ostrich), and refuses to move, obviously enjoying the warm nest of the ostrich. Keepers at the zoo doubt if the eggs will hatch out because the body temperature of the Capibara is not high enough for the eggs. Photo shows The mother ostrich keeps walking round - but the Capibara sits on the eggs - one of which is showing - determined not to move
