Jul. 07, 1965 - Two tame cheetahs presented to Whipshade.: Two adult male Cheetahs have been presented to Whipshade Park. One, Edashara (which in Swahili means the eleventh) is a gift from the 11th. Battalion of he King's African Rifles, and the other ;Jack comes from Mar. S. Ellis, of the Nairobi National Park. Photo shows Jack becomes the centre of attraction from children in the Children's zoo at Whisnade today
