Jul. 07, 1965 - Two Tame Cheetahs presented to Whipsnade. Two adult male Cheetahs have been presented to Whipsnade Park. One Edashara (which in Swahili means the eleventh) is a gift from the 11th. Bettalion of the king's African Rifles, and the other Jack comes from Mrs. S. Ellis of the Nairobi national Park.
