Jun. 06, 1966 - 6, 000 Tortoises At London Airport: The R.S.P.C.S. hostel at London Airport had a agrange set of visitors yesterday - 6, 000 tortoises. They had been imported by ship from North Africa, but due to a disagreement between the supplier and the importer, they were due to be flown home. Photo Shows: One of the tortoises was taken for a walk along the nearby M 4 by the photographer - Maybe he wanted to work out how long it would take a homeless tortoise to make his way back to Morocco
