Jul. 07, 1965 - Duckling Born In The House Of Lords: A mallard came over from St. James's park Lake and laid two eggs in a window-box terrace of the house of Lords.The Duck hatched open of her eggs and took fier duckling back to the lake. Leaving the other egg. So the noble Lords put it on a hot plate under a dis cover in their kitchen. Meanwhile they called in Arthur May, bird-keeper of the Royal parks.
