Jul. 07, 1963 - Micheline From Africa Hates Electricity.. Everybody knows that elephants are the most intelligent animals, but they seem to have a great intuition too. Recently to protect the grass not far from them in the Vincennes Zoo of Paris an electric wire has been installed around. This presents no inconvenient for other animals, but the other day Micheline touched it after a bath and still wet. She received such a shock that she was sick for several days. And since that day, in spite of the warm weather and their love for bathing, none of the elephants there took an other bath.
