Apr. 13, 1966 - The only falconer of Bavaria is Sepp Wensauer (Sepp Wensauer) from Fourth in Wald. Already as a young man he was very interested in ornithology, especially the birds of prey. Whenever such a bird was found hurt in the neighborhood, he was brought to Mr. Wensauer, who took care of him. As he was so familiar with the habits of the birds of prey, he joined the German Falcon order in 1936 and since then he is a passionate friend of hawking. The collector's value for such a hawk is between DM 10, 000 and 20, 000 and nevertheless it is very difficult to get a first class hawk. Photo shows Mr. Sepp Wenauer holding his mordant hawk and an English Blue Field Setter (the only dog accepted by the falcons) which also is necessary at the hunting
