Sep. 09, 1967 - New Arrivels at Whipsnade. Important new Arrivals at Whipanade are Katie and Subie, two Baby female African Elephants, which were flown to England From Zambia on Tuesday. They are both air to Seven Months Old; Katis weights about 420lb. and Susie is slightly Smalles, weighing about 400lb. Katie and Susie were Named whilst still in African, and answer to their names already. They are very good-natured and enjoy human companionship
